I am a Tennessee native, growing up in neighboring Bradley County. I attended both Lee University and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before obtaining a degree in Middle Grades Education. This will be my sixth year teaching English/Language Arts, but my first in 8th grade at Ooltewah Middle. I have a seven-year-old little girl named Scarlett who is the light of my world. I am so excited for the new adventures this year is sure to bring!
