Hello and welcome to 6th Grade Math! I am so excited to be your teacher this year. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in December 2018 and studied middle grades mathematics. This is my first full year of teaching middle school math. I have previously taught 8th grade math/Algebra I as an interim teacher.

Update (March 16th):

Hello all,

I hope everyone is staying healthy and rested. I want to provide you with information for this week (March 17th-20th). Luckily, the unit we are starting now is possibly the best unit that you could have had to do on your own! For students without internet access, you will need to go by school and pick up a packet in the front office.

Contact Information:

  • You may contact me through email: smith_emilee@hcde.org or Remind. I will be available to you from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day.

  • All of my assignments are available to you through Canvas. These assignments will need to be completed, as they will allow me to see how you are progressing and where you are struggling. I have gone ahead and posted assignments through Friday (March 20th).
