Micki McCullough 8th Grade Exceptional Education
IEP Case Manager/Teacher

Mrs. McCullough

I would like to introduce myself to you and welcome you to 8th grade! My name is Micki McCullough and I will be the case manager/ex.ed. teacher to most students in 8th grade with IEP's.  This is my 14th year teaching exceptional education here at OMS. I specialize in direct intervention in the general education setting/inclusive setting.  I began teaching in the Atlanta area in 1985 and have been a teacher or school counselor for 26 years ( Plus, I took ten years off from education to focus on being a mom).  I enjoy being an advocate for students with differences and will do my best to make your child feel welcome and to achieve success this year at OMS.  I can be contacted at mccullough_micki@hcde.org. and receive emails at any time, but due to being in the general education class setting most of the day, it may take me a while to respond. Always be on the lookout for emails from mccullough_micki@hcde.org or from Micki McCullough so you will be informed about your student and IEP progress.
**IEP meeting times will be on Monday at 12:15 per request of OMS administration.
**Progress monitoring and transition planning will take place at least once a week during OWL time for your 8th grader.

**You will receive IEP Progress Reports quarterly.

I hope to develop a great relationship with you and your child this year!
