This is my 11th year teaching special education at Ooltewah Middle School. I teach direct intervention math, am case manager to most 8th grade students with IEP's, and am the special education department head at here at Ooltewah Middle.  I began teaching in the Atlanta area in 1985 and have been a teacher or school counselor for 24 years.  My husband teaches JROTC at Ooltewah High School and I have two children, my daughter is a senior at UTC and my son is a junior at OHS.

Direct Intervention Math-  This class is designed to work on academic deficits in math and to support students with mastering skills in their current grade level math class.
8th Grade Case Manager- I am case manager to many 8th grade students with IEP's.
OMS Special Education Department Head- 

Supplies needed for direct intervention Math:  
1) One Spiral Notebook
2) Pencils
3) headphones or earbuds
